Nice job! According to the Graduate Employability Ranking 2018 issued mid-September by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), the American University of Beirut (AUB) is offering its students the greatest access to the labor market in the region.
It was ranked 45 by QS and it is the only university from the Middle East and North Africa to belong to the top 100. It nonetheless lost four places since last year.
Tel Aviv University comes second in the region, between positions 131 and 140.
In the US, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) climbed four places to become the top-ranked university this year.
For this report, the educationnal resarcher QS has been studying over 500 institutions around the world.
Five indicators were used to build the ranking : graduates’ employment rate, employers’ reputation, older alumni’s career paths, the number and quality of partnerships with employers per faculty and the number of individual employers who have been actively present on the campus during the year.
